Which Tide Are You?
Answer 18 questions to find your match.
About this quiz
The ocean has been doing the same dramatic bit twice a day for four billion years and somehow still hasn't gotten bored of it. It rises, it falls, it drags a flip-flop out to sea and returns it a week later on a completely different beach. That, cosmically speaking, is a personality. And somewhere in that endless in-and-out breathing of the sea, there is one specific tide that is you β same energy, same schedule, same tendency to show up uninvited and rearrange everyone's towels.
This quiz measures five extremely rigorous* things about your inner water level. Your Gravitational Pull (how strongly you drag people, plans, and snacks into your orbit). Your Chaos Churn (whether you leave a situation tidier or significantly wetter than you found it). Your Deep Calm (your capacity to remain unbothered while the moon and sun openly argue about you). Your Big Wave Energy (how theatrical your entrances, exits, and emotional weather tend to be). And your Far Reach (how far your influence sloshes before someone finally puts up a sign).
Along the way you'll meet eight tides who are all, in their own way, deeply real. The commanding High Tide who takes up the whole beach. The mysterious Low Tide who recedes and leaves behind treasure and one confused crab. The Rip Current who looks calm and is absolutely not. The famously moderate Neap Tide, who refuses to have an opinion on anything. The maximalist Spring Tide, the once-a-year King Tide, the cozy little Tide Pool that everyone crouches to admire, and the Tsunami, who was fine, was fine, was fine β and then was very much not.
There are no wrong answers here, only wetter ones. Answer honestly, because the moon can tell when you're lying β it's been watching you sleep for your entire life and it has notes. By the end you'll finally know which stretch of moving water shares your exact soul, your exact schedule, and your exact talent for making a scene at the shoreline. Roll up your trousers, ignore the lifeguard, and wade in. Your tide is coming in, and it is coming in for you.
*Not rigorous. Please do not use this to plan a fishing trip.
