Which Gemstone Are You?
Answer 18 questions to find your match.
About this quiz
Deep underground, under a truly unreasonable amount of pressure and time, a rock quietly decided to become fabulous. That's it. That's the whole origin story of every gemstone you've ever coveted through a jewelry-shop window. And somewhere in that glittering lineup is your rock β the one that sparkles exactly like your soul on a good day (or hides in a velvet box like your soul on a Monday).
This quiz measures you across five extremely scientific and completely invented gemstone traits: how much fire you throw off when you catch the light, how much depth is going on beneath that polished surface, how much flash you bring when you walk into a room, how rare and one-of-a-kind you feel, and how much hardness you've got when life tries to scratch you. Add it up and you land somewhere in the great treasure chest of personality.
Maybe you're a diamond: unbothered, unbreakable, and quietly the most expensive thing at the table. Maybe you're an opal, changing color depending on the lighting, the hour, and whether anyone has fed you. Maybe you're a pearl, technically not even a gem, thriving anyway out of pure elegance and spite. Or maybe you're a black onyx, absorbing all the drama in the room and giving absolutely nothing back β iconic.
There are no wrong answers here, only increasingly specific ones. Answer honestly, answer chaotically, answer the way you'd behave at 3am when the group chat asks a hypothetical question nobody needed. In about eighteen gloriously unserious questions we'll sort you into one of eight gemstone archetypes, each with a witty little explanation of why you, specifically, are that stone. Then you get to loudly disagree with your result for four seconds before immediately sending it to three friends and demanding to know which gem they got.
So take a breath, catch the light, and let's find out what you're actually made of β geologically speaking, of course. Ready to shine? Let's dig.
